Compact component
The TRI-CLAMP� connection is widely used in sanitary applications. It is used, among other activities, for tanks and similar vessels. In comparison to other process connections for this industry, e.g. DIN 11864-2 flange connections, the TRI-CLAMP� is really a compact and lightweight component. The great advantage of this kind of connection is its simple handling. Measuring instruments are installed, without tools, utilizing a clamp connection.
To become in a position to integrate the TRI-CLAMP� in to the process, a connecting nozzle of the same size is required as a counterpart.
