Haunted hotel horror: Thai man’s spine-chilling encounter in Bangkok sends shivers down social media

A Thai man shared his spooky experience at a lodge within the Sukhumvit neighbourhood of Bangkok on Facebook. Mysterious footprints, strange noises, a shrine, and a chilling message were found.
Backdoor , 37 yr outdated Thanawin Khamsom, posted videos and footage of the lodge on Facebook. At first glance, the Bangkok hotel seemed to be a perfect place for relaxation, with its clean and newly furnished rooms. However, Thanawin quickly found one thing spooky as he talked about within the post’s caption…
“On July 11, I was very exhausted. I checked in at a resort to rest and get ready for work the following day. I received room number 510 on the fifth flooring. I paid 1,200 baht for an evening. With the price, that was not that low-cost, I thought I can be fantastic.
“I did not discover anything when I entered the room because I was tired and needed to rest. I fell asleep from about 9pm to 10pm and later awakened at about 1.13am as a result of I heard footsteps inside the room, followed by sounds of working water from the lavatory. I decided to show off each mild inside the room and began investigating the origin of the voices.”
Thanawin then defined the strange and spooky issues in his room. Firstly, he stumbled upon a shrine located on the room’s balcony. In Thailand, it’s regular for a place to have a shrine, but it’s usually situated on the bottom ground in entrance of the buildings or homes, not a balcony.
Secondly, he discovered a footprint on the wall that had not been there earlier than he went to sleep. Third, he discovered coins on the headboard of two twin beds within the room. According to Thai beliefs, folks will place coins under the mattress or on the bed’s headboard to purchase or hire the mattress from the proprietor that people couldn’t see.
Lastly, Thanawin claimed that he discovered a message written on the wall with a red pen stating, “Death.”
Thanawin decided to record what he saw on his phone and contacted the resort staff members to request a new room. He added that he could not sleep even after he moved to a new room on the second floor, but luckily he didn’t discover something strange once more.
Channel three interviewed Thanawin at present after his post went viral on Thai social media gaining over 10,000 reactions, 4,000 comments, and 20,000 shares.
Thanawin revealed to the media that he did not book the spooky Bangkok hotel prematurely, he just searched for a resort with out there rooms. His room was the last one available. Luckily, he had a possibility to vary his room in the middle of the evening as a result of some visitors checked out.
Thanawin disclosed that he later talked with the hotel workers before checking out. A workers member claimed that the lodge did not have an empty space for the shrine, so that they had to construct it on the balcony. The workers insisted that that they had never seen the phrase “Death” and the footprint contained in the room before.
Moreover, the staff clarified that the room in question was not intended for visitors and was all the time saved locked. Unfortunately, the workers member who allocated the room to Thanawin was new and unaware of the small print. The resort employees promised to refund Thanawin for his stay and begged him not to disclose the hotel’s name.
