Amarinth delivers 18m-long pumps for new Indian FPSO

Amarinth has accomplished a US$1.5 million order from Armada Madura for six API 610 VS4 vertical pumps for a new FPSO being built for India’s Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC).

pressure gauge ไฮ ด รอ ลิ ค of the six API 610 VS4 pumps are pour level depressant pumps which might be 18m in length and the opposite four are methanol carry pumps that are 10m long.
All of the pumps have PT100 temperature sensors which were designed and built along the length of the pumps to observe the temperature of each bearing individually.
The 18m lengthy pumps incorporate a supporting system of brackets that Amarinth has designed which attaches every pump to its tank throughout installation guaranteeing that because the pump is lowered into the tank it remains completely aligned, decreasing vibration and put on during operation.
Once assembled, the pumps have been independently witness examined and authorized by DNV at Amarinth’s facility in Rendlesham, UK. The pumps have been then disassembled into 3m segments and shipped to Singapore where the FPSO (floating manufacturing storage and offloading unit) is being constructed.
The pump supply and installation needed to align with the FPSO construct schedule. Because of the length of the pumps, they had to be put in into the vessel’s tanks through the deck before one other deck above the pumps could be constructed. The first part was completed efficiently over the Christmas period with Amarinth’s Engineering Commissioning group supporting the client with the set up and commissioning.
The FPSO shall be positioned within the KG-DWN 98/2 field, approximately 22 km off the east coast of Kakinada, India. The vessel is designed to provide up to ninety 000 barrels of oil per day (BOPD) and have a 1.3-million-barrel storage facility. It shall be geared up to handle the monsoon conditions prevalent at the area.
