Atlas Copco has agreed to acquire the German industrial pump manufacturer Pumpenfabrik Wangen GmbH from non-public equity agency Silverfleet Capital.

Headquartered in Wangen within the Allgäu area of Germany, Pumpenfabrik Wangen specialises in progressive cavity pumps used mainly within the biogas and wastewater sectors, and twin-screw pumps for food and beverage and cosmetics purposes.
Pumpenfabrik Wangen has manufacturing services in Germany, a US subsidiary and a world gross sales and repair footprint. The firm employs 265 people and had 2020 revenues of roughly €46.4 million.
