At WIKA we have chosen the next terminology:<br\/>Pressure sensor (Pressure transmitter)<br\/>Pressure sensor (pressure transmitter)<br\/>A pressure sensor (also pressure transmitter) delivers a standardised, processed signal inside a housing with commonly available pressure connection and electrical connection. Typically, it might be coded and ordered as a catalogue product and thus supplies the customer with a plug-and-play solution. Nevertheless, customised versions are possible when supported with a corresponding ?business case?.<br\/>Pressure sensor module<br\/>Pressure sensor module<br\/>A pressure sensor module is made for OEM applications. It delivers a standardised and calibrated signal, but could be customised pertaining to connections and size.
