It can be the second LNG gasoline pump systems order that Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding has placed with Svaneh\u00f8j within the final 12 months. In July 2021, Svaneh\u00f8j signed a contract to provide deepwell pumps for 10 dual-fuel LNG container vessels (15 000 TEU).<br\/>Svaneh\u00f8j quadrupled gross sales of its patented deepwell fuel pumps in 2021, and says there are numerous indications that gross sales might increase even further in 2022.<br\/>\u201cUntil a couple of years ago, the usage of LNG as a marine gas was restricted to LNG carriers and smaller ships. But we are now seeing a sharp increase in gasoline pump orders for deep sea vessels similar to container ships and car carriers,\u201d said Johnny Houmann, chief sales officer at Svaneh\u00f8j. \u201cWe had been chosen because the supplier of fuel pump methods for over 50% of the dual-fuel LNG container vessels ordered globally in 2020\u201321.
