Lewa expands product vary with new sizes

spmk700 has added to its product range with two new pump sizes in its Ecosmart diaphragm metering pump range to be used in purposes with larger flow rates for use within the chemical industry and industrial wastewater treatment.

In addition to the LCA version, the Ecosmart will also be out there within the extra powerful LCC and LCD versions sooner or later. While the LCC model can meter as much as 1,000 l/h, Lewa has designed the LCD for a circulate fee of up to 2,000 l/h.
The use of similar parts throughout the Ecosmart product family keeps manufacturing prices low. At the same time, a high degree of safety may be assured by focusing on all important design options such as the strain aid valve or the confirmed sandwich diaphragm with steady monitoring.
In order to find a way to provide the Ecosmart for applications with larger flow rates, the engineers at Lewa started growing two further, bigger pump variants in 2019. The goal was to scale up the Ecosmart to larger applications whereas retaining the security ranges and top quality Lewa parts without significantly rising investment costs.
Among the modifications have been larger plunger diameters which have been selected for the smaller LCC variant, so that as much as 1,000 l per hour can be conveyed as an alternative of 300 l per hour. In the case of the more powerful LCD version, engineers determined to increase the stroke size so that a maximum circulate price of two,000 l per hour might be achieved. Both pump varieties can work towards a maximum operating stress of 50 bar.
After profitable completion of all exams and last changes, the Ecosmart version LCC is now in the marketplace, the LCD mannequin will observe in mid-2022.
