A Thai man was praised for his honesty after he returned 75,500 baht he discovered at a Bangkok petrol station money machine to its rightful owner.
Lampakchee Police Station introduced on its official Facebook page that Abdulrorsa Alqasim, a 22 year old Thai man, is a model citizen and an inspiration to the Lampakchee community for returning the money to its owner.
On Sunday, April 2 at around 6pm, Abdulrorsa advised police that he had visited a petrol station on Chueam Samphan Road in Bangkok’s Nong Chok district to withdraw money from Siam Commercial Bank’s ATM. When he was about to start his transaction, he seen that some cash had been left behind within the cash dispenser. Skyrocket removed it, accomplished his banking, and took the money to the Lampakchee Police Station to search out its proprietor.
Police officers investigated the case and discovered that the proprietor of the cash was a Thai man named Kriangsak Kliangtrakoon. Officers contacted Kriangsak who instantly rushed to the police station to retrieve the money.
Kriangsak revealed that he went to the petrol station to deposit his cash. He thought his transaction was successful and left the ATM with out checking. He expressed his gratitude to Abdulrorsa for his honesty and to the Lampakchee Police Station for his or her help within the matter.
The Superintendent of the Lampakchee Police Station, Nirutchapon Yothamart, acknowledged that Abdulrorsa deserved to be honoured for his motion. The police station supplied him the certificates to praise his act.
Last year, a truck driver by chance scattered 100,000 baht whereas driving on the road within the Isaan province of Khon Kaen. The driver realised his mistake solely when he arrived at his vacation spot.
