In order to have the flexibility to provide the Ecosmart for purposes with larger move rates, the engineers at Lewa started growing two additional, larger pump variants in 2019. The aim was to scale up the Ecosmart to larger applications while retaining the safety ranges and prime quality Lewa components with out significantly rising investment prices.
Among the changes have been bigger plunger diameters which had been selected for the smaller LCC variant, so that up to 1,000 l per hour may be conveyed instead of 300 l per hour. In the case of the more powerful LCD version, engineers decided to increase the stroke length so that a maximum move rate of 2,000 l per hour could be achieved. Both pump sorts can work against a maximum operating stress of fifty bar.
After successful completion of all exams and ultimate adjustments, the Ecosmart version LCC is now available on the market, the LCD model will follow in mid-2022.
