Alton Smith has joined Sundyne as regional sales manager for North and Latin America, focusing on the chemical and industrial (C&I) markets.

Smith comes to Sundyne with greater than 30 years of expertise in selling highly engineered equipment and repair solutions to the downstream and midstream sectors. He has labored extensively with EPCs, OEMs and finish customers in the renewable energy, oil & gasoline, petrochemical, chemical and energy generation markets.
Prior to Sundyne, Smith served as vice chairman of sales for Fluid Sealing International, the place he developed strategies to strengthen & develop distributor gross sales, whereas also overseeing coaching and applications assist. He beforehand served as a regional gross sales supervisor for EKATO Systems. Smith began his career at Flowserve Corp’s Seal Division and has also worked with midstream oil & fuel OEMs at EagleBurgmann and John Crane Inc.
